Ever since I was young, I suffered from the same issues that you or your loved one are suffering from today. I would wake up every morning, and for the most part, I would always have the horrible stomach problems that I mentioned above.
Breakfast was always a huge problem for me. Throughout high school, I always skipped breakfast. 99% of the time, eating breakfast would cause ‘stomach problems’ to arise. Therefore, I just didn’t eat it.
Even on days when I didn’t eat breakfast, I still had stomach aches, and let me tell you… These aren’t any ordinary stomach aches. If you’re reading this page, you know what I am talking about when I say that these stomach aches are severe.
After simply living with these problems for many years, I finally heard about gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease. I thought to myself, “Could a gluten intolerance be causing all of these problems?” I decided to use WebMD’s symptom checker, and sure enough, Celiac Disease came up at the top of the list.
Although I brushed this off for sometime, I finally noticed that on the days that I didn’t eat much food, I always had less problems. Therefore, I determined that I had to have some kind of food allergy.
After being tested for several different allergies, and receiving a false negative on a test for gluten intolerance and Celiac Disease, I finally decided to go gluten free for myself.
After only 2 days of going gluten free, my lower abdominal stomach aches and diarrhea stopped completely. It’s now been almost 9 months, and I can’t remember the last time I had a stomach ache.
I know this story was kind of long, and it didn’t have any subheadings, but I truly hope that my experience will help you or your loved one solve their problem. Just to clarify, here are the symptoms that I was experiencing while I was consuming gluten:
