I don’t know about you, but I am a schedule freak. Having a schedule is usually good, but for a schedule freak like me, having a schedule can be problematic.
Today, I hung out with my friend Steven.
I originally planned on being home by 5:00 PM for my 3rd meal of the day. Normally by 5:00 PM, I am on my 5th meal.
I ended up getting home by 6:00 PM, and ate my 3rd meal then.
Today was totally off, and I still had 3 meals to eat by 12:00 AM. After my 3rd meal, I wasn’t able to get any other meal in until 10:30 PM.
Guess what I did?
I ate all 3 meals that I had missed in 1 sitting.
Now, this obviously is not the healthiest thing in the world to do, and it’s not something that I recommend doing on a regular basis. However, it’s better than not eating anything at all.
And this brings me to my main point:
If a day does not go as planned, do not skip that day.
I know that for me, a lot of my problem is I say I want to get up at 7:00 AM to workout, and then I don’t… So I say, “I’ll just do it tomorrow.” The same thing happens tomorrow, the next day, and so on…
“I’ll just do it tomorrow” is your worst enemy.
So that’s what I leave you with today, folks. Just because things don’t go as scheduled, don’t not do them…
Things don’t always go as planned or as scheduled.
But if you let “things” get in the way of your success, and if you always have the mindset, “I’ll just do it tomorrow,” then you will never accomplish anything.
Do it today!
